Precautions to take while wearing rudraksha.

Rudraksha beads are highly powerful as they were formed from lord shiva’s tears. It’s sole motive is to transform the individual’s life for the better and blesses them with prosperity, luck and good health.

There are certain do’s and don’t’s that must be taken into consideration while wearing the Rudraksha such as:   
– The best time to wear the rudraksha is early morning right after a bath.   
– Chant the mantras for the particular rudraksha or chant ‘ OM NAMAH SHIVAAY ‘   
– Maximum benefit can be attained if the Rudraksha is cleansed and energized.   
– Whoever chooses to wear the rudraksha must visit lord shiva’s temple to seek his blessings.   
– Anyone and everyone can wear the rudraksha irrespective of gender or age or even caste. However, women who are menstruating must not wear the rudraksha for their own good. ( prevents from harm ) 

– Always keep the Rudraksha cleaned and oiled as dirt can enter the pores and damage it. It can by washed by holy water or milk which helps retain its sanctity and oil it with olive oil.   
– One must place the bead in the sun and sit close while meditating to activate it.   
– The bead should be capped in silver or gold, after stringing in a red thread.   
– Wearing your rudraksha to a funeral is a big no as it could attract negative energy.   
– Avoid wearing the beads to a visit a new born.   
– If you feel discomfort because of the beads while sleeping you can take them off but it is suggested that you wear it 24×7 to achieve maximum advantages.   
– You must remove these holy beads before a strenuous workout such as going to the gym or swimming and even while having a shower as regular contact with water or soap can harm the beads and dehydrate them.   
– Make sure to wear your Rudraksha after it’s siddhi which means after the purification process, preferably on a Monday as it is said to be auspicious.   
– Do not interchange it with a family member as it could mix up energies.

Rudraksha is given to as by Lord Shiva as a holy and divine gift, we must respect it and be grateful for the miraculous and highly powerful gift. The worshipper of the rudraksha is blessed with angelic energy and are showered with endless opportunities. The wearer is always protected.
